During the process of uncovering the useful material (diabase) in our quarry, low quality material has to be moved as “overburden material”. The “overburden material” is processed on its own or with adding materials that are produced during processing (crushing and screening) of the virgin material (useful diabase material). The materials added are either final products or by-products that result from cleaning the factory yard. The final product after the process, complies with CYS EN standards for embankments and filling products. So, instead of dumping the ‘useless material’ without value, we transform it to useful material with a great value. Our company’s target, is that every material has a use and value.

As a result of the process 74000 tons went into the market as embankments and filling products, instead of being dumped as a useless material.
